Come join me for hands-on cookery lessons in my home kitchen or book a private class in yours. I also teach regular workshops at The Dusty Knuckle in Dalston, the Garden Museum in Vauxhall and at various locations of Borough Kitchen Cook School. Small group lessons

I run friendly, informal (but information packed!) classes from my kitchen Harringay. I’ll provide all the ingredients and equipment as well as refreshments and you’ll get a recipe sheet with plenty of information so there’s no need to take notes.

 
 

Private classes

Alternatively, I also offer private lessons in the comfort of your own home. I’ll rock up with all the ingredients and bring any bits of kit you might not have. You’ll learn plenty of tips and tricks, get recipe cards to keep and (of course!) some delicious food to eat.

Lessons are three hours long and start at £199 for two. Vouchers are available and make lovely presents for the would-be-chef in your life or it’s a fun and (reasonably) civilised way to spend a hen/stag party or a birthday celebration. Please get in touch to enquire about availability.

Kitchen Confidence For BeginnersLearn a few essential techniques and adaptable dishes which will give you confidence in the kitchen. We'll cover: knife skills; sweating vegetables; making a basic tomato ragu and a cheese sauce that can be both be used for countless pasta, vegetable and other dishes; a green salad with classic vinaigrette and a fail-safe cake.£199 for 1/2, £249 for 3, £299 for 4

Introduction to Lactofermentation

Fermented things are super good for your microbiome but also they’re super delicious. This course will cover the the science and practicalities of creating your own lactofermented pickles. We’ll make sauerkraut, kimchi, preserved lemons, fermented hot sauce and seasonal pickles.

Learn to make your own fresh egg pasta dough and turn it into tagliatelle as well as delicious filled pastas and simple sauces to eat them with. Cook Your Own Dinner Party

Let me guide you though the creation of your own delicious three course meal. We’ll decide a menu in advance and have lots of fun in the kitchen putting it together on the day. Then you get to relax whilst I do the washing up and leave you to enjoy the fruits of your labours.

Level Up Your Pasta Game

Already a dab hand with the pasta machine? Then it’s time to step things up a notch. We’ll cover coloured and stained glass doughs and make some more advanced filled shapes including my favourite wow-factor starter, ravioli al uovo.
